Administrative Assistant (Main Office)  

The ideal candidate will have a proven record of being able to efficiently and enthusiastically handle a wide array of organizational and administrative tasks while maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere in a school or office setting.  This position will work with numerous stakeholders and represent the school as a first contact with parents, colleges, and outside organizations.  The position will assist the Principal and other administrative staff with their day to day obligations, planning school events, and creating and uploading various reports to the New York State and other governmental organizations.  An enthusiasm for working in an educational setting and helping students and parents is essential for success in this position.  Mastery of Microsoft Excel, a high level of comfort with database utilization, and the ability and willingness to utilize multiple applications to efficiently complete tasks is also a crucial component of this position.

Specific tasks will include but not be limited to:

  1. Answering phone in professional manner and assisting parents, students, and those making inquiries
  2. Working with the Principal to manage schedule
  3. Maintaining student records and assisting in school mailings
  4. Maintaining and supervising the student database
  5. Preparing letters and personal documents for parents, students and alumni
  6. Maintaining a welcoming environment for students, parents, and visitors
  7. Assisting the guidance department with college application process, record keeping, and student appointment schedules
  8. Learning and efficiently using student data applications such as Administrator’s Plus, Naviance, and various NYS educational portals

Math Teacher – Leave Replacement (2)

Archbishop Molloy High School is seeking highly qualified candidates for two Math teaching positions for the 2019-20 school year. These positions are maternity leave replacements beginning in September 2019 and finishing in January 2020. There is the possibility that they could become full year replacement positions. The positions’ responsibilities include teaching NYS Regents courses in Algebra I and Geometry. The ideal candidates will have an earned Master’s degree, a valid NYS Teaching Certificate in Mathematics 7-12, and high school teaching experience.
