Our Stories

Dan O'Reilly • Teacher & Alumnus

“My name is Dan O'Reilly, an English teacher and proud alumnus of Molloy's Class of 2014. Molloy means home. As a student here, I benefitted from rigorous academics, and a nurturing community that cared about me as an individual. Simply put, Molloy has made me come alive, and it's a gift to see it have the same effect on my students today. Molloy invites its students to think, to care, to lead, to serve, and to succeed. We send Stanners into the world confident, loving, and well equipped, knowing what matters most."

Enda Connolly • Sophomore

“Hi, I'm Enda, and I'm part of the graduating Class of 2027 here at Molloy. At Molloy, I do theater, Speech and Debate, the Liturgy Committee, Quiz Bowl, Campus Ministry, and I just love going to Esopus. The reason I love Molloy and the reason I came here is that it fosters such a sense of community, friendship, and family - something I felt on my first day. The reason Molloy is so great is because we really embody our motto non scholae sed vitae."

Enda Connolly • CLASS OF ‘27

Tiffany Esquen • Senior

“My name is Tiffany and I'm a part of the Class of 2025. My favorite part about Molloy is the extracurricular activities. Molloy gives me so many chances to thrive and find leadership opportunities. Some clubs I lead are Spanish Club and Liturgy Committee. I'm an attorney for the Mock Trial Team and also Editor-in-Chief of the Blue and White Yearbook!"

Alex Lopez • Junior

“My name is Alex, and I'm a junior here at Archbishop Molloy High School. I do a lot here: I'm on the Liturgy Committee, where we plan all of our school's liturgies, and I'm in theater, where I do Stage Crew. I really love Molloy because of its sense of community, and how it feels like one big family."

Alex Lopez • CLASS OF ‘26

Sameera Zaheid • Sophomore

"Hi, my name is Sameera, and I'm graduating in 2027 from Molloy. I take classes such as AP World History and Computer Science, while also balancing my clubs such as Speech and Debate and Campus Ministry. I'm a leader for the Speech team, and for Campus Minsitry, I try to do as much service as I can. I'm also on the JV Volleyball Team! What I love most about Molloy is our sense of community, and how everyone here is connected. Our sense of unity is something special here, and it makes all the hard work pay off."

Sameera Zaheid • CLASS OF ‘27

Daniel • Junior

“My name is Daniel, and I'm a student here at Molloy. Currently I run track and I'm a member of the Guitar Ensemble and Chess Club. I'm able to balance all of this with rigorous coursework. One of my favorite classes is Algebra 2/Pre-Calc. This class will allow me to take more rigorous math courses in the future and will look good on my college application!"
