Recent Alumna Visits Linguistics Class

Alumna Autumn Hill ‘22 recently visited Dr. Jonathan Mangar ‘09 and his introductory linguistics class to speak about the importance and usefulness of studying linguistics. Autumn took the linguistics course, titled “Language, the World, and Us,” when it was first offered in the spring of her senior year at Molloy. She is now a sophomore at St. John’s University studying Speech Pathology and Audiology. Autumn enthusiastically introduced Dr. Mangar’s students to these areas of study and spoke about her involvement with clubs and jobs on campus.

“I had so much fun providing high school juniors and seniors with valuable information that they can continue to use in the classroom and the real world,” said Autumn. “I also loved getting to know all the students and hearing about their future endeavors.” Thank you, Autumn, for taking the time to visit and speak to our current students!
