Today marks the Feast Day of the Marist Institute. On this date in 1817, St. Marcellin Champagnat founded the Marist congregation with two young recruits LaValla, France. The Marist Charism and Mission has been passed down over the past 207 years. Today is not just about looking back with gratitude for all that has been done in the Marist world, but also a time to look forward and ask ourselves how we might continue to live and promote this amazing gift that has been given to each of us. Here’s to a year of seeking where we can make a difference in our community and our world!
