READ VALEDICTORIAN SPEECH

Molloy is proud to congratulate this year’s Valedictorian, Victoria Vlachos ‘22, and Salutatorian, Patrick Logan ’22. Victoria and Patrick have inspired us by being kind, highly active Stanners while also excelling in and out of the classroom.

Victoria plans to study human biology, health and society at Cornell University in hopes of becoming a physician. “Molloy has prepared me immensely for the future. The classes I have taken have set an important foundation for my future classes and I have learned so many important lessons. Going into college I am very confident because of how much I have learned while at Molloy,” said Victoria. Reflecting on achieving Valedictorian, Victoria credits her family, friends, teachers, her ability to “set realistic goals for herself,” and her dedication to academics for helping her succeed. In her speech at graduation, Victoria encouraged everyone in the Carnesecca Arena to join her in “enjoying the small moments,” and “appreciating what is happening at any given second.” Congratulations, Victoria!

Patrick will attend Villanova University this fall, where he will major in finance with the intention of earning a master’s degree. Instead of having a career path already decided, Patrick wants to take advantage of a wide variety of business courses offered at Villanova, hoping to find something he is enthusiastic about. As someone with a strong work ethic, Patrick looks forward to taking advantage of all the opportunities Villanova has to offer. “In the future, I hope to be successful, working in a job that I love. I also hope to have a family of my own,” said Patrick. He credits his family and friends, as well as his teachers and peers at Molloy, for supporting him. “Molloy has not only given me the education and knowledge I need to succeed, but it has also helped me grow in my relationship with God. Furthermore, Molloy has given me friends for life, who I know I can always lean on.” Congratulations, Patrick!
