Congratulations to our Girls Track & Field team for taking second place at the CHSAA New York State Intersectional Championships. Grace Murphy qualified for the NYS Federation Championship, placing 2nd in both the 2000 Meter Steeple Chase and the Javelin. Abigail Jefferies '22 Placed 2nd in the Shot Put and 4th in the 100 Meter High Hurdles. Eva Gonzalez placed 3rd in the 800 Meter. Sophomore Caroline Rozmus '24 placed 3rd in the Pole Vault. Brianna Poliseno placed 4th in the 400 Meter Intermediate Hurdles. The 4 X 800 Meter Relay team of Grace Murphy, Camile Munoz, Brianna Rucker, and Eva Gonzalez placed 2nd. Congratulations to our Girls Track & Field team for finishing 2nd in the Brooklyn-Queens and NY City CHSAA Championships at Ichan Stadium in May.
Grace Murphy was CITY and B-Q Champion in the 2000 Meter Steeplechase, also placing 2nd in the B-Q 1500 Meter Run. The team of Jenna Wright '24, Eva Gonzalez, Maria Badalamenti '25, and Giselle Livingston '24 won the 4X400 Meter Relay, earning the City and B-Q Championship!
Sophomore Eva Gonzales won the B-Q Championship in the 800 Meter Run. Freshman Jazmyn Dorsey '25 placed 2nd in the B-Q Triple Jump and 4th in BQ Long Jump. Abigail Jefferies '22 won the B-Q Long Jump and the 100 Meter High Hurdles. Freshman Aoife Garvey '25 placed 3rd in the B-Q 3rd 3000 Meter Run. Freshman Camille Munoz placed 3rd in the B-Q 400 Meter Hurdles. Freshman Brianna Poliseno placed 4th in the B-Q 4th 400 Meter Hurdles. Sophomore Brianna Rucker placed 5th in the B-Q 400 Meter Dash. Senior Isabelle Audrin '22 placed 5th in the B-Q 1500 Meter Run. Senior Cher Mei '22 placed 5th in the B-Q 3000 Meter Run.
