On Thursday, May 26th, Molloy hosted its first Athletic Awards Ceremony in over two years. Stanners, coaches, families, and friends gathered together in the Jack Curran Gym to celebrate all student athletes, thanking them for their dedication to their teams and our school! Student athletes received awards for extraordinary achievements in their sport, as well as academic excellence.
Athletic Director Mr. Mike McCleary shares, “The student athletes of today are continuing the tradition of excellence here at Molloy. Through daily practice and tremendous effort, they have enjoyed much success, together winning five regular season championships, seven Brooklyn/Queens Championships, four City Championships, and we had eight student-athletes reach State competition while winning one State Championship… We have 11 teams still competing, so let us encourage all of them to complete their commitment and create some memories that will last a lifetime.” From handball to soccer, Molloy continues to support its students’ athletic ambitions!
