The Jack Curran Gymnasium hosted a sold out crowd on Friday, March 22nd, as the seniors and faculty faced off in Molloy’s annual Seniors vs. Faculty Basketball Game! One of the most sought-after tickets of the year, the latest event didn't disappoint, as each squad played hard for glory and bragging rights! Each team donned custom jerseys, while students, family, and friends in the crowd cheered for their favorite players on both sides.
The game was sharply contested for much of the first half, as the seniors held a modest lead over the faculty. That lead became more comfortable in the second half as the seniors stayed focused and pulled ahead for good, earning a convincing 81-58 victory! This anticipated matchup turned out to be one of the highest scoring seniors vs. faculty basketball games in recent memory.
In addition to the game, the crowd was treated to electric performances by the Step Team, Spirit Squad, and what might be the biggest group of Sassy Seniors we've ever seen! In all, it was an amazing night full of energy and school spirit. Special thanks to Mr. Dougherty ‘91, Ms. Murdocca, and everyone who helped make the night happen.
