Biology/Chemistry Teacher

Archbishop Molloy High School is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a science teaching position for the coming 2017-2018 academic year. The position’s responsibilities will include teaching regents-level courses in chemistry and biology, and collaborating with colleagues on student laboratory activities. Also, continued employment may result in future opportunities to teach AP science courses as well as computer science and physics courses.

Ideal candidates will have a dual New York State Teaching Certificate in biology and chemistry, and a master’s degree. It is strongly desired that the candidate’s pedagogy is informed by current science education research and best practices. Molloy is searching for applicants that utilize student-centered and project-based instructional techniques.

Part-Time Security

Archbishop Molloy High School is currently accepting resumes for two part-time security positions. One position would be 4 days a week and the other position would be 3 days per wek. Candidates will need to possess a valid NYS Security Guard License and be retired from law enforcement.

Security postion 1: Sunday 9am-5pm, Mon-wed 12pm-6pm

Secuirty postion 2: Thursday, Friday 12pm-6pm and Saturday 9am-5pm

These positions would begin May 8, 2017. The positions coincide with the school year and do not include any summer hours.
