Stanners Participate in Photography Exhibition

Congratulations to the winners of this year’s Seventh Annual William F. DiPietra Photography Exhibition! The William F. DiPietra Foundation, created by Helen DiPietra in memory of her son William ’94, celebrates his passion for media arts through awards presented at institutions that were meaningful to him, including Molloy.

18 members of Molloy’s Photography Club participated in the exhibition this year, submitting photos on a theme of their choice. Helen says that the photos submitted all received “high praise from the judges,” with every judge being “genuinely impressed.” She says to Stanners, “You should be proud of the work you created, and I hope you will display your work whenever you can. Thank you for contributing your beautiful work to an exhibition that means so much!”

This year’s top three winners are:

1st Place:

Cesar Muñoz (Class of 2026) – Solitude

2nd Place:

Hubert Skrzypek (Class of 2026) – Mountain Giants

3rd Place (Tie):

Paula Kowalczyk (Class of 2026) – Senior Disney Trip

and

Matthew Llamas (Class of 2029) – A Breath of Fresh Air

“Congratulations to all those who were chosen as awardees for the Seventh Annual DiPietra Foundation Exhibition,” says Mr. Jonathan DiDonoto ‘01, moderator of the Photography Club.   He continues, “I’m proud of all the students who provided submissions. To get out there and take photos of that capacity takes dedication, creativity, and talent! I was so impressed with the entries this year!  Congratulations again to all recipients, and best wishes to the top two who are graduating this year. May you continue using that skill in college and beyond!”
