Stanner Players Participate in After School Retreat

On January 8th, the Stanner Players participated in an after-school Campus Ministry retreat focused on the Marist pillar of Family Spirit! Throughout the afternoon, students reflected on how they can live out this pillar both on and off the stage.

Participants prayed together, shared personal reflections, and took part in a variety of team-building activities that strengthened their sense of community. Alumni Che Negron ’19 and Taylor Garcia-Lawson ’19 were also in attendance, along with the Stanner Players’ music director Esther Chung. Taylor additionally serves as the Stanner Players’ choreographer!

Family Spirit was truly brought to life during the retreat and is clearly reflected in the way our Stanner Players support and uplift one another. It was a meaningful opportunity to be present with God and to celebrate the strong sense of family within this talented group!
