Six Stanners Named Commended Students in National Merit Scholarship Program

Molloy is excited to announce that Emma Chan ‘27, Lilly Kacziba ‘27, Michael Lee ‘27, Robert Shalhoub ‘27, Sana Steadman ‘27, and Matthew Xiao ‘27 have been named Commended Students in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program! 

Students entered the National Merit Scholarship Program when they took the 2025 PSAT/NMSQTs last October. 34,000 high performers across the nation are being named Commended Students, meaning they have “demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success.” A spokesperson from the program elaborates, “These students represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation.”
