Knitting & Crafts Club Members Create Flowers for Breast Cancer Survivors

Knitting & Crafts Club Members Create Flowers for Breast Cancer Survivors

This October, members of Molloy’s Knitting & Crafts Club partnered with the breast cancer foundation SHAREing & CAREing to create handmade flowers in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Club President Carrie Li ’26 and Vice President Kaylani Ramirez ’26 crafted beautiful faux flowers using pipe cleaners and ribbon, all of which will be gifted to breast cancer survivors, including those currently undergoing treatment.

In a heartfelt letter of thanks, Founder and President of SHAREing & CAREing, Anna Kril, wrote, “Carrie and Kaylani’s artistic efforts and acts of service are a testament to the values instilled in them by their families and school communities, including Molloy. The knowledge that there are caring, aware, and involved young people in the world can give us all hope for a better future.”

Thank you to Ms. DeNoto, Carrie, Kaylani, and the Knitting & Crafts Club for embracing such a meaningful act of service. Go Stanners!
