31st Annual Stanner Games a Huge Success!

On January 10th, Molloy hosted its 31st Annual Stanner Games! Held at the 168th Street Armory in Manhattan, the Stanner Games are a nationally recognized track and field meet that welcomes thousands of athletes from hundreds of schools across multiple states. Competitors took part in a wide range of events, including hurdles, relays, sprints, shot put, long jump, and more. The year’s event featured 2,497 athletes representing 113 teams and was supported by nearly 50 alumni, staff, and family volunteers, along with 20 student volunteers who helped ensure the meet ran smoothly!

Mr. AJ Power ‘84, Molloy’s head coach of girls track & field, shared that coaches from across the country consistently say the Stanner Games is “one of their favorite meets of the year,” and that “officials treat athletes with unparalleled respect and compassion.”

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, supervised, and attended this year’s Stanner Games, and congratulations to the entire Molloy track and field community on another outstanding event!
