Molloy Hosts 5th Annual Stanner Players Alumni Reception

On Saturday, April 25th, Molloy hosted its 5th Annual Stanner Players Alumni Reception!

Alumni enjoyed catching up with friends and former castmates in the library before taking their VIP seats in the Ralph DeChiaro Theater to watch the Stanner Players’ sold-out performance of Mean Girls: High School Version!

This annual event offers alumni of the Stanner Players and Theater Arts & Improv Club a wonderful opportunity to see friends, make new connections, and support the current Stanner Players. It has become a beloved tradition by both alumni and current members.
“It’s just so nice to see all the alumni come back for the Stanner Players Saturday show,” said Joshua Peña ’28, who played Aaron Samuels in the musical. “It shows us how strong our family really is.”

Katelyn Remon ’27, who played Karen Smith in the show, shared her favorite night of the Spring Musical is the Saturday performance. “There’s always so much energy and the audience always seems so into it––and that’s definitely because of all the alumni that come back!”

Nearly 30 alumni attended, filling the first few rows of the theater. Many alumni were also directly involved in the production, including Taylor Garcia-Lawson ’19, Mr. Dan O’Reilly ’14, Erin Mardenborough ’20, Tatiana Egas ’22, Krystal Valentin ’25, Mr. Chris Autera ’16, and of course, Ms. Shannon Winters ’06, our amazing director!
