Theater

One of the best things about Molloy is the inherent family spirit that flows through our halls. The Stanner Players, Archbishop Molloy High School’s performing arts group, embodies that particular spirit.

Through working on productions over the course of the school year, students have opportunities for personal growth, onstage and off, as well as form bonds with cast and crew mates enabling them to put on performances with heart. Working together to achieve the goal of putting on a full-scale production for an audience is a unique shared experience.

Stanner Players Present: Mean Girls: High School Version (Spring 2026)

Congratulations to Molloy’s Stanner Players and Ms. Shannon Winters ‘06 on their incredibly successful run of Mean Girls: High School Version! From April 23–26, the Ralph DeChiaro Theater was filled with energy and laughter as audiences gathered to enjoy this lively, high school-friendly adaptation of the hit musical, with three shows completely sold out. Each performance highlighted not only the humor and heart of the story, but also the dedication and passion of the students who brought it to life.

With a cast of 29 Stanners and a crew of 23, the production created opportunities for a wide range of performers to shine, from standout leads to a dynamic ensemble. Behind the scenes, countless hours of rehearsal, collaboration, and creativity were evident in every scene, song, and dance number. Director of the Stanner Players Ms. Winters shared that “students put their talents on display,” and “have shown tremendous growth from each of their first productions with the Stanner Players.” She describes the Stanner Players as a family, one that continues to build a lasting legacy, growing stronger and more inspiring with each new production!
