PHYSICAL EDUCATION

There are no resources or collections to display

Archbishop Molloy High School's Physical Education Department strives to teach students the basics of general physical activities and sports so that they may lead an active lifestyle.

Physical Education at Molloy provide students with the building blocks to develop a healthy body and mind.

Throughout the school year, students learn and play different team sports (volleyball, basketball, soccer, and more), utilize our all-weather track, baseball field, two gymnasiums, and our Strength & Conditioning Center.

Students learn how to work together as a team, how to communicate with one another, and develop self-confidence, especially when playing team sports. During the winter months, the strength center is utilized to learn correct form, how to create workout plans, and focus on muscular strength and endurance.

All students are required to take Health Education in sophomore year. The course itself includes learning about physical fitness, nutrition, family life, and other important topics.
