Molloy Crest
Originally designed in 1957, Archbishop Molloy High School's official crest has since been redesigned with modern finishes. The following is a description of each primary element within the crest:
- The Beehive represents a sense of activity, family, and community at Molloy.
- The Marist M is a symbol of our commitment to the Marist Brothers' mission to make Jesus Christ known and loved.
- The Rampant Lion is a symbol taken from Archbishop Thomas E. Molloy's coat of arms. For Molloy, it is a reminder of the excellence that we foster in all Stanners.
- Non scholae sed vitae is our school motto in Latin. It translates to Not for school but for life (Note: When written or typed, it should be styled as you see on this page, with the first letter of the first word upper case, and all other letters lower case).
- 1957 is the year Molloy was established in Briarwood, Queens, New York.
