Br. Bob Andrews Memorial Event

BA22

ABOUT THE EVENT
In April 2020, the Molloy family lost our beloved teacher, coach, mentor, and friend, Br. Robert Andrews, FMS. Due to past restrictions on public gatherings, the Molloy community was unable to come together to remember Br. Bob. Now, Molloy is excited to welcome you for this special memorial event as we celebrate Br. Bob’s wonderful life and legacy.

ABOUT BR. BOB ANDREWS, FMS
Br. Bob served Molloy for over 40 years as a social studies and religion teacher, as well as a dedicated Track & Field and Cross Country coach. Under Br. Bob’s leadership, Molloy won a New York State Cross-Country Championship, 17 New York City Catholic Indoor and Outdoor Titles, and over 75 Brooklyn/Queens Catholic Sectional Championships. Molloy’s student-athletes also achieved individual success under Brother Bob’s guidance, winning three Catholic Individual Cross-Country Races and 11 New York State individual titles. After retiring from teaching in June 2015, he remained on Molloy’s coaching staff to continue living out his passion. Br. Bob is a member of the CHSAA Hall of Fame, the Armory Hall of Fame, the US Track & Field Hall of Fame, and resides on Molloy’s Track & Field Wall of Honor.
