About Science Olympiad: The Science Olympiad affords talented science students the chance to participate in high level science activities not offered within a traditional classroom setting. The team is chosen after a round of tryouts and competes against other NYC high schools in February for the chance to go to the State championships in March. The team conducts experiments and works on projects in Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Engineering, and Physics.
