About the Club: The Health & Fitness Club examines the different issues regarding leading a healthy lifestyle. The various activities and field trips focus on five different aspects of health: physical, social, emotional, mental and physical.

The club has field trips to eating establishments trying to identify healthy vs. unhealthy foods. They also include trips to the Body Exhibit and performances that emphasize physical fitness.

In addition to field trips the club shows movies to the school regarding health issues. Our in-house meetings involve various physical fitness exercises using our bodies or equipment to provide resistance. The techniques learned are all designed to enhance physical fitness.
