Profile of Graduates

According to the Marist Brothers International Education Commission, “our students are at the center of our concern in all that touches on school life and organization.” We assist them “to acquire learning, competence and values through discovering the world, others, themselves and God.” We “determine educational programs, curriculum content, and teaching methods in light of our mission statement and of the best educational and pedagogical thinking available to us.” (In the Footsteps of Marcellin Champagnat: A Vision for Marist Education Today, 50)

Our graduates will be prepared to:

  • Think creatively, critically and independently and demonstrate an eagerness for life-long learning
  • Integrate and process information from a range of disciplines, worldviews and multicultural perspectives
  • Communicate through various means, including oral, written and visual representations of ideas and observations
  • Utilize multiple technologies proficiently and responsibly to acquire new knowledge
  • Model intellectual leadership through personal integrity, responsibility and ethical standards
“The core of Saint Marcellin Champagnat’s vision of mission was “to make Jesus Christ known and loved. He saw education as the way to lead young people to the experience of personal faith and their vocations as good Christians and virtuous citizens.” We educate “in and for solidarity,” and present it as the “the Christian virtue of our time.” We endeavor to increase young people’s willingness to serve the less fortunate.
