Around the School: Service

At Archbishop Molloy H.S., one common characteristic you can find in students is how service-oriented we are.
Much of the service is centered in an organization at our school called the St. Marcellin Champagnat Society (SMCS). Named after our patron saint, it was founded in 2004 by Marist Brother Patrick Hogan and guidance counselor, Mr. Chris Dougherty.

Molloy Student Receives Prudential Spirit of Community Award

Cayla Kumar, 16, a junior at Archbishop Molloy High School, located at 83-53 Manton St. in Briarwood, was presented with an engraved bronze medallion recognized as a selected Distinguished Finalist for New York in the 2019 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards on March 18.

Blood Drive Recap

Thanks to the generosity of our students and faculty, the NY Blood Center collected 116 pints of blood during Molloy’s Blood Drive on March 5th

Champagnat Society Volunteers During Winter Break

Over winter break, students in Molloy’s St. Marcellin Champagnat Society (SMCS) volunteered during their vacation time to help out at the Ronald McDonald House of Little Neck and the Forest Hills Food Bank.
