Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Today, January 17th, we honor the life, impact, and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a profoundly inspirational leader and activist in the American civil rights movement. During Molloy’s homeroom announcements on Friday, January 14th, Principal Penikas spoke about Dr. King’s legacy of courage, compassion, love, and tireless pursuit of justice, while encouraging Stanners to think about what they can do to embody this legacy. The morning broadcast concluded with a tribute video dedicated to Dr. King, which featured excerpts from his “I Have A Dream” speech, delivered on August 28, 1963, during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
