Important Notes on Applying

For Aspiring Freshmen

Please fill out a free application by clicking the button to the right and selecting "Create Account."

Important: If your first quarter 8th grade marks are not available at the time you submit your application, please submit just the 6th and 7th Grade report cards. You can then sign back into the account to add the 8th grade marks when they are available. Email them to admissions@molloyhs.org as well to ensure they are received.
Letters of Recommendation are not required or mandatory, but can still be submitted! A teacher, administrator, mentor, coach, pastor, etc. can email a recommendation letter to admissions@molloyhs.org, mail it directly to us at Molloy (Attn: Admissions), or use the link within the application. Letters of Recommendation are necessary when completing the Named Scholarship Application.
It can take the Admissions Department approximately one to two business days to process an application once it is completed. The rendering of the report cards you upload may take longer to process. Please ensure that everything is uploaded/submitted by the given deadlines.

Important Notes on Applying

If you already have a student at Molloy, you do not need to create a new account. Simply log in with your existing Blackbaud account at https://molloyhs.myschoolapp.com.
If you have a family member that attended Molloy, please include their full name (including last name, even if it is different than yours) and graduation year. Please include how they are related i.e. uncle, cousin, brother/sister, close friend, etc. Ex: John Smith / Class of 1993 / Cousin.

Looking to transfer to Molloy? Send an email to our Admissions Department and begin the process of becoming a Stanner today.

If you are going to be a Sophomore or Junior during the upcoming academic year, you can inquire with us by emailing admissions@molloyhs.org. We do not offer the option to transfer into Grade 12. The transfer process deadline is June.

Admission into the few openings available in Grades 10 and 11 is competitive. We do not admit transfer students in the middle of the school year; we begin looking at transfer applicants by the end of March/early April, as the previous months are reserved for the incoming freshman class.

Admission of transfers depends on space available, on marks previously earned, and on courses studied.

Academic Information for Potential Transfer Students into Sophomore Year

To transfer into Molloy as a Sophomore, an applicant must have Freshman grades that are consistently in the 90s. An in-person interview is required.

Students must have earned credit for the following before transferring to Molloy:

One year of English
One year of Social Studies, including Global History
One year of Algebra (Common Core Algebra Regents recommended)
One year of either Spanish, French or Italian
One year of Living Environment/Biology (LE/Biology Regents recommended)
One year of Fine Arts (i.e. Music)
At least ½ year of any Computer Science

Academic Information for Potential Transfer Students into Junior Year

To transfer into Molloy as a Junior, an applicant must have Freshman and Sophomore grades that are consistently in the 90s. An in-person interview is required.

Students must have earned credit for the following before transferring to Molloy:

Two years of English
Two years of Social Studies, including Global History (Global Regents recommended)
One year of Algebra and one year of Geometry (Common Core Algebra Regents & Common Core Geometry Regents recommended)
Two years of either Spanish, French or Italian
One year of Life Science (Living Environment Regents recommended) and one year of Physical Science (Earth Science or Chemistry Regents recommended)
One year of Fine Arts
At least ½ year of any Computer Science
At least ½ year of Health

How to Begin the Transfer Application

Email admissions@molloyhs.org first to express interest in transferring to Molloy. In the same email, please attach copies of your child's complete high school transcript and NY State Regents test scores, as well as your 7th and 8th Grade transcripts and, if applicable, NY State test scores. If you do not email us first, your application will be disregarded.
Admissions will then email you the transfer application.
Once the application is submitted, please pay the $100 nonrefundable transfer application fee by credit card, which is found within the online transfer application.
