Academics
Molloy offers a uniquely innovative and comprehensive course of academic study designed to develop every student’s ability to think, analyze, synthesize, and create. With offerings of great breadth and depth, students are challenged to develop a full understanding of existing academic knowledge and actively engage with the skills of tomorrow. Our curriculum is constantly evaluated and refined so that each student’s academic journey leads them to a path of discovery and meaningful work.

Classes
Molloy offers over 30 Honors classes, 7 Scholars classes, 24 Advanced Placement courses, an AP Capstone program, and 45 junior and senior electives across subject areas (see our Course Catalog). Our curriculum is updated each year to make sure it serves everyone in our community and keeps up with the modern world. 97% of our students enroll in AP and/or other college credit courses prior to their graduation.
College Credit
College credit, transferable to many colleges, is also awarded through our participation in the St. John’s University College Advantage Program, Seton Hall University’s Project Acceleration Program, SUNY Albany's High School Scholars Program, and Long Island University's High School Scholars Program. Qualified students can earn as many as 36 credits by registering for college extension courses at Molloy.
Technology
We’ve created a comprehensive program for integrating SmartBoards, laptops, desktops, and iPads into our curriculum. Every classroom features a 4K resolution SmartBoard, and each student utilizes an iPad outfitted with textbooks and a variety of apps for use in the classroom and at home. Students utilize iPads for research, quizzes, note taking, and other academic purposes.
Diplomas
Our school attracts an exceptionally talented student body. Molloy’s academic standards include and surpass national Common Core standards and we follow a New York State Regents curriculum. The vast number of our students earn New York State Advanced Regents or Advanced Regents with Honors diplomas, and select students graduate with the AP Capstone Diploma.
Archbishop Molloy High School’s faculty brings an average of 19 years of teaching experience to our classrooms. 97% of our faculty have earned Masters or Doctoral degrees. 100% of our graduates attend college, earning admission and scholarships to a wide array of prominent colleges and universities throughout the U.S. and abroad.
