Molloy's Construction

In 1956, blueprints are drawn for Archbishop Molloy High School.
Standing, from left to right,are Br. Francis Xavier, who oversaw construction, Br. John Lawrence, the first director-principal of Molloy, and the structural engineer.

Archbishop Molloy passed away in 1956. His successor, Bishop McEntaggert, presided at the dedication ceremonies, which were delayed until May 1958, when the gym was completed. Here the Bishop is shown blessing the new student chapel.
