Mr. John Maldonado

Mr. John Maldonado graduated from Archbishop Molloy in 2008. Mr. Maldonado received a BS in Psychology and English from Fordham University and a Master’s degree in Education from Pace University. He taught high school special education for 3 years in the NYC Department of Education before returning to Molloy as a member of the English Department in 2016. Mr. Maldonado is currently completing his Ph.D. in Fordham University’s Contemporary Learning and Interdisciplinary Research program and is an Adjunct Lecturer at Hunter College. He was featured in the International Literacy Association’s 2016 30 Under 30 list of global literacy advocates for his work promoting technological literacy among students with special needs. Mr. Maldonado currently teaches English 9 and English 10, and is the moderator of the Archbishop Molloy Pipe Band. He can be reached at jmaldonado@molloyhs.org.
