Mr. Darius Penikas

Mr. Darius Penikas, Principal of Archbishop Molloy High School, came to Molloy from St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School in West Islip where he was the Assistant Principal for Curriculum, Instruction, and Student Activities.  Prior to his time at St. John the Baptist he spent more than a decade as a Dean, teacher, and coach at St. John’s Prep in Astoria, Queens.  Mr. Penikas began his career as a Social Studies teacher at West Hempstead High School.  

Mr. Penikas holds a BA in History and Economics from Binghamton University, a MAT in Secondary Social Studies Instruction from Binghamton University, a MS in Education Administration from St. John’s University, and an Advanced Certificate in School District Leadership from St. John’s University.  He is currently working to complete his Ed.D. at St. John’s in the field of School Administration and Supervision, concentrating on the impact of blended instruction on student learning. 

Mr. Penikas is elated to join and serve the outstanding school community at Molloy as Principal.
