Mrs. Leslie Poole Petit

Dr. Leslie Poole Petit came to Molloy in 2013 as the Director of Admissions.  Within this position, Dr. Petit is responsible for leading the entire admissions and student recruitment function at Molloy which includes managing student recruitment, establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with stakeholders in feeder and public schools, advertising, data capturing and analyzing along with championing the scholarship process and administering the TACHS examination and Molloy Scholarship Exam.  Dr. Petit created and heads the Molloy Student Ambassador Program. Prior to this position, Dr. Petit served on the Columbia Business School Admissions Committee, the Fordham Alumni Student Team and hosted Open House Admissions Receptions for Dominican Academy. An experienced college administrator and lecturer in Italian Language and Culture, Dr. Petit holds a BA in Economics and Italian from Fordham University, an MA in Italian Literature and Culture from Boston College and an Ed.M. and Ed.D. in Applied Linguistics from Columbia University, Teachers College.   Dr. Petit is currently Correspondent for the Boston College Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Co-President of the Crestwood Public Library and a Girl Scout Leader.
