Mr. John Attard

Mr. John Attard graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School in 2006. He then graduated from St. Joseph’s College Brooklyn Campus in 2010, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.  His initial intentions were to become a registered nurse but then fell for the passion of teaching.

Mr. Attard started to teach at Archbishop Molloy High School in 2010.   Mr. Attard then went on to attend Queens College and earned a Master of Science degree in Secondary Education in Science in 2013.  He is now certified to teach Biology and Chemistry in New York State. Mr. Attard is glad to be back at his alma mater, teaching Biology and Chemistry.  He is also a head coach for the Archbishop Molloy Science Olympiad Team.

Besides the academic perspective, Mr. Attard is also involved with retreats and camps that take place at the Marist Brothers’ Retreat House located in Esopus, NY.  While he was a student at Molloy, he was elected as a Campus Ministry Leader for his senior class.  Mr. Attard’s role in senior year as a leader for his class made him determined that high school graduation would not be the last time he would see Archbishop Molloy.  The dream came true when he was offered a position at only age 21 to teach science at Archbishop Molloy High School.  Since then, Molloy has been a second home for him where teaching and molding minds became a reality.
