Br. Michael Fisher

Brother Michael Fisher joined the Marist Brothers and went on to complete his Bachelor in Liberal Arts and started teaching in elementary school while studying his Masters in Secondary Education followed by a Certificate as Teacher of Foreign Languages from The Boston School of Modern Languages and one from Trinity College London.

Br. Fisher began working in the United States as a teacher of Spanish at St. Mary’s Boys HS in Manhasset, NY till 1990 when he was invited to join the faculty here at Molloy where he has been teaching Spanish mostly to Sophomores and Juniors till the present.

In the 26 years at Molloy, Br. Fisher has been involved in several other activities: The Student Activity Committee for ten years, the Parents’ Club and as a Moderator of the Varsity Soccer team.

Although not a graduate from Molloy he is a Stanner at heart.
