Mr. Donald Mooney


Mr. Donald Mooney has worked as a Religion Teacher at Molloy since the fall 2007.  He currently teaches a Senior Course: Christianity in Film; a Junior course: Christian Scriptures / Morality; and a Freshman course: Understanding Catholic Christianity. He is also involved in extra-curricular activities: Varsity Boys Tennis Coach; Varsity Girls Tennis Coach; Freshman Camp; Retreat Program; and Senior Encounters.

Before coming to Molloy, he taught Religion at Cardinal Spellman High School for twenty-one years, was an adjunct professor at the College of New Rochelle from 2001-2003 and worked as a Religion Teacher at John F. Keenedy in Somers for 3 years. He also was a CCD teacher at his parish for 7 years. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fordham University in 1983 with a double major in Theology and Philosophy. He then obtained a Master of Science degree in Youth and Young Adult Ministry from the Fordham University Graduate School of Religion and Religious Education.
